All Saints Hotel Wedding Photographer | Bury St. Edmunds Wedding Photographer | Joe and Gemma
I was so pleased to be asked by Joe and Gemma to take photographs at their wedding at All Saints Hotel in Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. As a Cambridge based wedding photographer living on the outskirts of Suffolk, the venue was just down the road and easy to get to. A stunning hot day, All Saints Hotel was literally shining when I arrived.
Joe and Gemma had been through a real emotional rollercoaster recently, after her newly born daughter was born with liver failure. The original wedding had also been postponed during Covid lockdowns, so this really was a long time coming. The atmosphere was so good, with a real mix of wedding guests. This was my first wedding in Bury St. Edmunds and also my first at All Saints Hotel so I was super excited to get going!
An outdoor ceremony, under the pergola was the perfect start to what turned out to be an incredible wedding day. Both families were so welcoming and friendly and just let me get to work. I had my second shooter, Sam, with me on the day which was ideal as the Bride and Groom were split quite far apart. Sam shot the Groom and his preparations and I focused on the Bride.
The wedding started as it was to go on, with champagne flowing from the start. -I’m sure there were a few sore heads after this one! The All Saints Hotel staff were so hospitable and served up some amazing grub during the reception - thanks guys!
I’m looking forward to coming back here to shoot my next wedding and hopefully getting back out on the golf carts, which made for some awesome images!
